In case you wish to upgrade your TickTok account, you’ll then go through some steps where you can choose the best account to match your needs. Verify the account upgrade with the email TikTok sends and you’re good to go.
Now, you can access an analytics dashboard to find some key content insights. Here’s how to do that on desktop and mobile.
Once you’ve logged into your TikTok account via desktop, do the following:
- Hover your pointer over your profile icon to reveal a pop-up window.
- Tap “View Analytics.”
You’ll access a TikTok analytics section that gives you access to the following data about your TikTok posts and account:

The Content tab shows you information about shares and viewing statistics for your most recent videos. Generally speaking, you’ll only see stats for videos you’ve posted in the last seven days.
Finally, follower insights show you core demographic data that can help with targeting your videos to specific audiences. The Follower Activity section is especially useful as it allows you to track engagement by time and day. This helps you choose the best times for posting your videos.
How to Turn Off Analytics on Tiktok
If you’ve grown tired of influencer marketing and want to switch off all of TikTok’s analytics for a while, you need to switch your business account back to a personal account:
- Tap the Profile icon in your TikTok app and select the three horizontal lines at the top right corner.
- Select “Settings and Privacy” then tap “Manage Account.”
- Choose “Switch to Personal Account.”
With a personal account, you won’t be able to view TikTok analytics for your video posts.
